At Magic|Bar, bartender/magician extraordinaire Benjamin Schrader’s weekly Monday pop-up sleight-of-hand saloon, the magic is intimate and happens just a few feet away, making each card trick all the more impressive. A dozen lucky patrons sip specially crafted cocktails and have their minds blown by a rotating roster of guest performers, all of whom, also are headlining magicians at the Magic Castle.
Once the wooden doors of Magic|Bar slide shut, a small group of wonder-seekers bond over shared moments of amazement. Old jazz records spin on a turntable. Decks are cut. Booze is imbibed.
And poof! Just like that, at least for an hour or so, the outside world disappears

Is Magic|Bar only for ages 21 and up?
Yes, Magic|Bar is a bar serving strictly 21+.
How does seating work?
Magic|Bar is an intimate space. Seating is determined by party size. Rest assured, there are no "bad seats" at Magic|Bar.

Will there be food?
We will be providing guests with our complimentary Scratch|Bar & Kitchen popcorn that is tossed with garlic oil, salt, sugar, and thyme. Other than that, there will be no food available.

Where can we park?
Magic|Bar is located on the 2nd floor of the Encino Commons. 16101 Ventura Blvd. The Commons has its own parking structure. Metered street parking is also available and free starting at 8pm.
What will I see there?
Magic|Bar features the greatest close-up magicians in the world. All performers at Magic|Bar are headliners at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood (including Benjamin Schrader, your emcee and bartender for the evening).
